Why not participate in the 3CBG Users' Conference in October to network with your peers at other California Community Colleges who are using Banner to their advantage? This conference is a great opportunity to share best practices with other CCC Banner users in your area of expertise.
The 2008 California Community College Banner Users' Group (3CBG) Conference is scheduled for October 6-8, 2008. This year's conference will be hosted at the beautiful Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa in Costa Mesa, California. The registration fee for the conference is $225 per person and the hotel's conference room rate is only $129 per night plus applicable taxes. You can reserve your hotel room on-line at http://www.hilton.com. If required, use Group Code CCC in the hotel reservation process.
Conference sessions begin on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 1:00pm and end on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 3:00pm. Vendor exhibits will open on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:00am and remain open throughout the conference until mid-morning on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. The $225 per person conference registration fee covers the cost of general and break-out sessions, access to vendor exhibits, Monday evening dinner, Tuesday and Wednesday continental breakfast and lunch, and break refreshments between sessions. Participating vendors plan to host a reception for all conference attendees on Tuesday evening. |
Last October, over 500 of your peers from 3CBG member districts met at this conference to discuss common issues, to hear about future Banner releases and their impact on California Community Colleges, and to share innovative ideas and best practices with one another. The presentation topics and preliminary session schedule will be posted here soon.
Reserve your place at the conference now by contacting your college/district's 3CBG Conference coordinator or Chief Technology Officer. Each district is handling the registration of its participants and will send an attendee list and a single check to the host district (Coast Community College District) covering all registration fees.
